Hi, I’m Bree, mom to Everett! For the last several months, I’ve been in the process with Everett’s medical team, developmental therapists, and service coordinator to get Everett approved for what’s called the Cubby Bed. The Cubby Bed offers a safe sleeping option for our rapidly growing son! He is currently still in his crib, but the Cubby Bed offers a larger sleeping space that keeps him safe from climbing under the mattress, sheets, and endlessly escaping (which are his favorite things to do in the crib).

We hit a huge success with the bed itself being covered by insurance; however, the “Hub Technology” was denied. I’m trying to raise enough to cover the Hub Technology portion, which is $3,500. Hub Technology provides a circadian light, soothing sound, a camera, mic, and environmental sensors, all accessible through a phone app. The most important function is being able to monitor him in the enclosed bed to ensure he’s safe.
