Help Evelyn beat Breast Cancer

Hello dearest friends, family, and generous contributors, 

Evelyn Larsuel is 44 years old, a mother of three amazing children ages, 15, 14, and 9; a wife, daughter, sister, and friend to many. Her life took a sudden turn on August.15, 2018 when she was diagnosed with an aggressive form of stage 3C Breast Cancer (Invasive lobular carcinoma) on her left breast. 

A mastectomy was performed on August. 31, 2018 which Evelyn has been recovering from but still in a lot of pain & discomfort. She has completed her first round of chemo with another 5 more rounds of treatment to go. She feels blessed to have a great team of doctors leading with head Surgeon Dr. Kang out of Kaiser. The estimate recovery timeline is anywhere between 6-8 months after which they can begin looking at reconstructive surgery options. This is all to say this is appearing to potentially be a two year ordeal. 

This diagnosis came as a complete surprise and has taken a huge tole on the whole family. Anyone who knows Evelyn knows she's strong and a natural fighter, reassuring her kids everything will be OK while her husband Corey is now the sole breadwinner working full time (at the same job he's been at for over 20 years) trying to make ends meet. Evelyn is currently on a leave of absence and doesn't have an exact return date based off her Cancer recovery.

As many of you know Corey and Evelyn have been married for over 15 years. Evelyn has always been a "superwoman" very hard working, balancing a full time career, motherhood, and is always there for her friends or just to lend a helping hand. Corey is not only a role model to his children but served our country in the Airforce for 8 years. Through a lot of hard work and discipline they were able to buy a home in Chatsworth, CA two years ago. All three of their children are on the honor role and attend church weekly. 

The emotional and financial burden of surviving Breast Cancer is going to be a challenge for Evelyn and her entire family. With Evelyn not working and the medical bills continuing to add up imposing a huge financial hardship on this family!!
