Help Esther achieve her dreams

Esther is an intelligent and vibrant young lady who desires to become a professor of public administration someday. She is passionate about bringing viable solutions to the corruption problems that characterizes her country’s public sector. She completed her bachelor’s degree with the support of her aged retiree parents whose income is less than 200 dollars per month. Just to relieve her parents the burden of paying so much and fending for her upkeep, she jumped at every job opportunity she was offered. She applied for work-study and was given an opportunity to work some hours per day and was paid just enough to meet some of her personal needs. She was able to strike a balance between study and work such that she maintained a high GPA, ranging from 4.0 to 4.5 all through her undergraduate days. As a result of her academic excellence, she was elected as her department’s administrative secretary, a responsibility she discharged with so much excellence.
After graduation she desired so much to proceed to graduate school but was limited by funds. She then took up a teaching job and worked for few years. Saving enough money for her masters was a herculean task as the income generated from her job was low. She however got into grad school with her loving parents support and continued to take up part time jobs which saw her through her master’s degree program. Her dedication and commitment to her studies paid off as she made a PhD grade. She thereafter secured a job in a public secondary school where she taught History for a year before proceeding to work for a non-profit organization. Unfortunately she lost her job at the non-profit organization due to cutbacks as a result of the pandemic. Due to the scarcity of jobs in this pandemic period, she hasn’t been able to secure any full time employment.
Her family’s income has also fallen on hard times due to the economic situation and it’s now impossible for her parents to assist her financially through another significant lap of her education. She is however still hopeful and determined to get her PhD despite the paucity of funds. She has taken a leap of faith to seek admission in a college which offers job opportunities to graduate students with records of academic excellence. With her savings and income generated from her hairdressing business, she can afford to pay for her acceptance fee but will still be needing thousands of moneys to see her through the 3 years of her PhD program. With her little hustle, there is honestly no way to she can raise her complete tuition before a new session begins in September. It is for this reason she has decided to be vulnerable and put her story out there hoping that she would get support from a wider community of people. She would appreciate your support more than she can say. Thank you.
