In the process of trying to get it fixed, my van went missing. The place where I ended up taking it, was very unhelpful and i got stuck in a situation where I had to choose between living with my mother (who has not accepted my queerness) or living in nyc.  While it would have been way more finacially responsible to live with my mother I was unable to do that for my own safety. I am now living in nyc while im in a much better place in terms of safety it has been a finacial hardship.  I was so devasted about my van. When it came down to it, this company did not help me. Towed my van somewhere. and in the process my van went missing.  It took a lot in me to not feel like this whole thing was the fault of my own foolishness but i know now i did the best I could with the resources I had available to me.  With all this said, I do think it’s unlikely i’ll ever see my van again. That truly breaks my heart, but i am trying to move on.   i am looking to secure housing for the next couple months as my unemployment is ending soon. This will help me take time to find a job that will feel good to me.  Less of a priority but still important i am hoping to fundraise for a new car. One that will be more reliable and not have the purpose of housing me. This will allow me to move a little bit more freely and it will open up my job options and allow me to take much needed breaks from the city life.  My goal is to raise between 3000- 5000 That will enable me to secure housing for a couple months and potentially buy a car in the spring time..  i know times are difficult for many! and i know if people can donate they will. please help share far and wide.
