After an 18-month battle with soft tissue sarcoma, Erik passed away surrounded by love, leaving behind a legacy of strength, compassion, and unwavering love for his family.

<div>Erik faced his diagnosis with incredible courage and resilience. Throughout his journey, he remained focused on what mattered most: his wife and four beautiful children. Sadly, as his illness progressed, Erik was forced to leave the job he loved, resulting in the loss of his health insurance. The financial strain of ongoing treatments, travel, and everyday living expenses quickly became overwhelming for the family.
