Ericka Cameron is a resilient single mom of three from Chicago who has faced more obstacles than most can imagine. Working in social services and pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology, Ericka currently boasts a 3.54 GPA—a testament to her dedication and hard work. Despite battling homelessness and domestic violence along her journey, she has continuously fought to create a better future for herself and her children.
At one point, Ericka took on two jobs to help pay for college, sacrificing precious time and energy to keep her dream alive. Unfortunately, she was laid off from one of those positions, adding another challenging setback to her already arduous path. Yet, this setback only fueled her determination, proving that no matter the hardship, she is willing to do whatever it takes.
Now, just four classes away from completing her degree—with graduation set for June 2025 and her final courses to be wrapped up by August 2025—Ericka needs $6,400 to cover her remaining expenses. This isn't just about finishing school; it's about showing her firstborn and all her children that it’s never too late to overcome adversity and achieve one’s goals.
Let’s rally around this inspiring single mom and support her as she crosses the finish line to a brighter future. Every contribution is an investment in not only her education but also in the hope and resilience she embodies every day.
