Our friend and UUFR member Eric Brunner will be coming home, soon. He's been held in the Wake County Detention Center since March of 2018, and we hope things will be cleared up in the near future.
When Eric comes out, he'll be facing a new set of life challenges, including a lack of funds and the need to find new housing and means of transportation. We are working with him on the housing and transportation issues, but we are coming to you for help with his initial finances.
At some point, Eric will secure the funding he needs to cover his living expenses. However, it will take some time to get his finances settled -- probably a few months.
So, Eric is going to need some start-up money on the day that he is released. We are reaching out to Eric's extended support team - the people who have shown care towards Eric over the last year. We are hoping to raise a few thousand dollars to help Eric get started. The money raised by this GoFundMe campaign will managed by a member of our team. Can you contribute $10, $25, $50?
