Help Eric Become a Talker

We are raising money for language tutoring for our son, Eric. Our school district canceled ongoing successful speech and language instruction one year ago. We have negotiated and fought for education for Eric through the public school system and state and federal services, but are now left with only private options for any education.
Eric is a ten-year-old boy with autism and speech and language delay. We are seeking to fund daily tutoring for Eric to improve his speech and communication skills from a minimally verbal state to a ready talker.
Eric is enrolling at a private language center for 200 hours of instruction at increments of two hours each weekday beginning October 16, 2017. The program costs $113.40 per hour for a total cost of $22,680. We have support for $9,000 of tutoring costs already and are seeking to raise donations for the remaining $13,680. Eric will be accompanied at his tutoring by a professional Behavior Therapist funded through private insurance.

Eric has made measurable progress with language tutoring in the past.
Outside of the two-hour tutoring sessions each day, Eric is in a home school program and receives Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy at home also through private insurance. For fun, Eric enjoys sports programs for children with Special Needs, Cub Scouts, and hiking throughout the Bay Area with his family.
