Help Enny Autism Grow

We are the Bear family Dadda Bear (Kevin), Mamma Bear (Melodie), Jaka Bear (Jacob), Enny Bear (Nathan) and Emmie Bear (we lost Nathan's fraternal twin at 8.5 weeks and we believe it was a baby girl) Nathan knows about his baby he calls her Emmie; I don't think he really understands, but maybe one day he will.

Enny Autism is where Enny Bear lives; he is a little bear on the Autism spectrum you can follow him as he journeys though like on the spectrum. He was born with Autism and was diagnosed at the age of 2 1/2 years old. We were told he was non-verbal and would probably never talk; he eventually started talking he just did it in his own time. We have faced many obstacles over the years and faced everyone head on. The only one we have had trouble with thus far is the stigma that comes with Autism because of the lack of awareness. We created  Enny Autism hoping to solve this problem by sharing our experiences with Autism in a fun way showing folks that yes Autism is hard, but if you follow us on Facebook you will see that it is also very rewarding and entertaining.

We have also written five social stories as a way for our son to express himself; he loves telling stories and he has several more waiting to be written I just can't keep up with his ideas as I create each story from clipart that I purchase online. You can find our 5 books Enny Bear Visits the Doctor, Enny Bear's Day at the Park, The Many Faces of Enny Bear,  I'm Enny Bear, I have Autism and our most recent Enny Bear Goes to School. The books can be found on iBooks, Amazon Kindle and Kobo books and a downloadable version on our Esty Store (Enny Autism). I have printed a few at home, but we have not been able to get them professional printed that is one of our wishes.

Our wish list is long, but we have a lot of things to accomplish and by sharing our story we are hoping to bring awareness by educating the world with facts and information about Autism. We think educating the younger generation is the key so that they will grow up already aware and automatically accept Autism into society. And then maybe one day we will live in a new diverse world where Autism is understood and accepted as a Unique and Different way of processing information!

So far with the money we have raised we have:
1. Got our Lanyards and bracelets printed.
2. Got our Balloons Printed and Ordered.
3. Created out webpage (powered by Esty)
4. Purchased many new items for the Haunted House.

We are hoping to raise even more money to keep Enny Autism growing which will help us to accomplish the following remaining goals:

Short Term Goals-

1. Professional Publish our Books
2. Get an Ennybear puppet made to take around to school and talk about Autism.
2. Make Enny Bear into an interactive Plush toy that kids can talk too and work on their speech therapy.
3. Creating an interactive app that helps those with Autism understand emotions and social cues.
4. Built a bigger workspace and get out of our basement.
5. Open an Autism store in our local area equipped with a sensory room, fun toys, educational toys, and supplies to make our fun sensory friendly soaps and lotions. As well as provide a space for local artist show and sell their work.

Long Term Goals-

6. Keep attending craft fairs and markets talking with the public Autism.
7. Host our annual Haunted House in a larger location, because right now we do it in our basement; we want to open it up to the public to raise more financing and awareness as we plan to hand out information packages each Halloween season, but we need a new facility.

Thank you so much for considering Enny Autism.
