<div>My name is Trevaun Douglas, and I’m the organizer of this fundraiser and the founder of Mind On Strength, a grassroots youth empowerment initiative based in Lawrence Heights, Toronto.

<div>Over the past few years, I’ve been organizing community programs to support youth and families through mentorship, movement, education, and healing. What started as small back-to-school giveaways has grown into year-round programming focused on helping youth rise above adversity and unlock their full potential.

<div>This fundraiser is not just for back-to-school, it’s about building a full year of opportunity and support for youth who need it most.

<div><strong>8) Experiential learning &amp; enrichment </strong>– Chess, spelling bees, workshops, financial literacy, and life skills

<div><strong>9) Scholarships and bursaries </strong>– For education, training, and post-secondary support

<div><strong>10) Community events </strong>– Like Hoops &amp; Harmony and creative safe-space gatherings

<div>Our goal this year is to raise <strong>$50,000</strong> to sustain these programs throughout the year and ensure no youth is left behind due to lack of resources.

<div>We’ve already begun our back-to-school efforts, and now we’re building toward a full year of support, growth, and transformation.
