Hi, I'm a 41 year old trans woman who is raising money for facial feminization surgery to correct some of the effects of testosterone puberty. Please help me achieve the face I want to see in the mirror. Every little bit helps.
Some background: I tried to first come out at 8 years old and suffered a great deal of conversion abuse, physical and emotional, which led to a major self-harming event and ER surgery at 13 that likely will prevent me from accessing gender corrective surgery. I have made peace with this fact, but some of my more aggressive facial features are made much more prominent by the fact that I went nearly completely bald at 20 years old and present as a bald woman. I battle dysphoria every day over it.
I'm asking for your help with medical costs associated with tracheal shave, neck tightening, and mild facial reconstructive surgery. I have had to make peace and learn to love my body with a lot of compromise, such as my lack of hair (transplants are out because I lost so much) and past self-harm preventing a smooth path to bottom surgery. Honestly, facial feminization surgery is even more important to me than either of those. Please help me achieve the face I want to see in the mirror.
