We are extremely proud of our “Great” niece Emma Dockray. She has been selected by Rowing Canada to represent Canada at the 2017 CanAmMex Regatta in Victoria BC. She has also been selected by Row Ontario to represent our province at the 2017 Canada Summer Games in Winnipeg.
Our family is beyond excited and deeply thrilled to share her story with you. Rowing is a tremendously disciplined sport which has allowed Emma to compete in Canada as well as the United States.
In two short years of rowing, she has accomplished so much. She has excelled in every competition and earned medals in all but two regattas.
Unfortunately, all of these amazing opportunities do not come without cost; Travel, entry fees and room and board are not covered and are the responsibility of the athlete. No elite amateur athlete should miss out on these fabulous opportunities due to the expenses associated with competition.
Emma has worked very hard and has poured her heart and soul into earning her place on the Canadian Junior Team, her possibilities are endless! She is a proud ambassador to the sport of women’s rowing.
We graciously request your support in helping Emma realize her dreams in the sport she loves. She will be proudly wearing the maple leaf, representing our amazing country and our province.
