Help Emma Heal from Severe Pneumonia

I don't normally like asking for help, but anything will help with expenses since I'm not working. Emma was sick about a week ago, fever coughing. We thought it was just croup, got her steroids and that seem to help. But later that night she ended with high fevers and cough that progressively got worse. Took her back to the doctors last Thursday and they said it was just a virus and to keep doing what we are doing. Sunday took her to med express because she still wasn't improving and said it was acute bronchitis. Ended up giving her steroids and antibiotics. By Tuesday she got worse wasn't really sleeping because she was coughing so much so we took her to Frick, once we got their they did a chest xray which confirmed severe pneumonia and some fluid and she needed iv antibiotics. We got transferred to children's by ambulance and we got admitted. By early Wednesday morning her oxygen dropped and her heart rate was 140-150 and she was just having a hard time breathing so got a repeat chest xray and it showed a complete pneumothorax (known as a collapse lung) she had to get a chest tube. She is still in the icu not much improvement on the pneumonia, they ended doing the tpa drug since she isn't draining much fluid, they think something is blocking so hopefully that drug can break everything up. She may need another chest tube depending if their is a fluid pocket in a different spot. Any donation will be helpful

Just wanted to give an update, everything is still the same they did administer a TPA because she wasn't draining much fluid and that helped she was at 1000 cc now we are at 1800-1900 cc. They doctor's keep saying it's just going to take a alot of time, her right lung is pretty sick. So it's a day by day type of thing

Another update the doctor been talking about doing a second chest tube but then her pneumothorax would get better than get worse. But a little bit ago her oxygen went into the 70's and her pressures were very low. So they decided they are definitely doing a chest tube so that will most likely happen tomorrow
