<div>Over the past year and a half, both my education and my faith have grown here at Liberty University. I am studying Special Education with a concentration in Applied Disability Advocacy (ADA), and I have learned so much during this journey. I’ve also had the privilege of volunteering at an after-school urban tutoring facility, where I’ve been able to work with and grow alongside many amazing students.

<div>I am now more than halfway through my degree and hope to become a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), creating individualized plans and working hands-on with students in special education.

<div>This upcoming spring semester, <strong>I have been given an incredible opportunity to travel to Quito, Ecuador, from March 13–21.</strong> During this trip, I will gain valuable cross-cultural experience as I work in the field, earning 30 practicum hours. This experience will not only grow me as a future educator but also broaden my perspective as I learn how education is approached in a different culture.
