Please help me RAISE FUNDS TO BUILD A LIBRARY for my SCHOOL!!!
Hi, my Name is Emma. I am a student at House of the Lord Christian Academy, in Idaho, and I love to read! I am a senior this year and decided to leave my mark on the quality of education that my fellow students receive after I graduate.
We are a small school open to students from Kindergarten through High School, and currently only have a small library suitable for elementary level readers. I want to change that, and have taken this on as part of my Senior Project.
I feel like the students of my school could benefit tremendously if we had a better constructed library and age appropriate books. So far I have completed all the ground work, including designating and clearing out an area within our school, designing the book shelves and pricing the materials needed, have procured the tools needed to build the bookshelves myself, and have calculated the costs of books to fill the shelves once complete. (I estimate it will cost $100.00 in material to build quality shelving that will hold up over time, with additional funds raised going towards books.) Now, all I need is some funding to see the completion of the project.
At my school we believe that where there is hope and faith God will provide, for our needs as well as the needs for our school. So far, God has been very gracious to our cause, always providing for us when needed by his own hand or through the hearts of others. I am reaching out in faith that God willing this message will reach those able to help with our cause.
I hope to raise the funds needed within the next two weeks so I can finish my project before the end of this semester, but if the funds come in after I will still be grateful for the blessing. I cannot express how much of a blessing it is to have this kind of technology available at our finger tips, I thank you for your time and I hope that who ever reads this will be Blessed by God.
