Hello everyone,

I am Yamilex, Emma's little sister. As a lot of you know, the previous GoFundMe for my sister did not work out and she never got any of the donations. I am creating this GoFundMe to help her out as her treatment is still not complete and these funds will directly be linked to her bank account. This last year has been really difficult for my sister. In May of 2024, she was diagnosed with two types of breast cancer and Li-Fraumeni Syndrome. She completed 6 rounds of chemotherapy from June 2024 to October 2024. In November of 2024, she had a bilateral mastectomy, and in December of 2024, she had a secondary surgery to remove the expanders they had placed as they needed to do an urgent MRI. Since January of this year, my sister has been having infusions for targeted chemotherapy every three weeks. As of April of 2025, my sister has been traveling to Seattle for infusions since she transferred all of her cancer care to Fred Hutch Cancer Center. She has a few infusions left, but she is not done with treatment. She will be going to Seattle every couple of months for injections and she still has a lot of exams and tests she needs to do. She also hopes to get reconstructive surgery in the future. She has gone through so much while still trying to be a momma, wife, friend, work, etc. I'm creating this in hopes to help her with medical costs, traveling expenses, and help support her during this very difficult time.
