Help Emily navigate her cancer journey

If you are reading this story, you probably already love Emily as I do. And you probably already know that she has had a rough couple of years, yet she is still smiling and sharing her life and love with many people. I find it especially inspiring that she is still doing that while navigating her cancer journey.

As a self-employed single wage-earner, Emily has built a thriving practice with an amazing community of people. Unfortunately, her cancer treatment has required her to scale back her work to attend many doctors' appointments and manage the chemotherapy's side effects. And unlike many salaried employees, she only earns income when she can work.

I did not ask Emily for her permission to put together this fundraiser because I knew she wouldn't want others to feel burdened to contribute, but honestly, I think it's a privilege to be able to do something to help her. Isn't that what we all say when we find out someone we love is going through something challenging? We say, "let me know what I can do to help!"
