Help Emilie Chimes/Cawcutt

Donation protected
In a freak accident yesterday, my sister Emilie Chimes Cawcutt, high school teacher of 12 years and mum to two little girls, was hit by a truck while moving into her new Brisbane home. As a neighbour’s dog was jumping on her, her husband went to help her, the moving truck they’d hired rolled and crushed her into the neighbour’s pool fence. As a result she has broken 5 of her ribs, 2 vertebrae, her left collarbone and a foot injury. Thankfully at this stage, no organ damage just lots of bruising. She is going to be out of action for 8+ weeks. If you can help please do. With love and gratitude.

UPDATE
Emmy is in a lot of pain and recent X-Rays show a partially deflated lung. She’ll have a few tough weeks ahead but she’s going to be okay. It is a miracle she is alive!! I have spoken with her and she’s overwhelmed by the thoughtfulness and generosity of everyone. She will thank everyone herself but please know she’s sending her love and gratitude back.
They have a massive insurance excess to pay this week for the damage to the truck so your generosity will be received with extreme gratitude.
