Help Emil recover from a broken leg
Donation protected
On October 21st I suffered a broken leg. My Tibial plateau broke in 3 places, and also had a mid shaft fracture of the tibia. I received surgery at MGH Boston on the 25th, getting 2 plates and 15 screws installed in my left leg. The damage to my tibial plateau and knee have forced me to remain non-weight bearing on my damaged leg for 3 months. Because I can't walk or drive, I've had to stop working. I am 29 years old and used to work a 40 hour week as a BMW auto technician. Its been a month since my accident, and my bank account is almost depleted. I have two more months before I can return to work and my medical bills, student loan payments, credit card payments, rent payments are pilling up fast. Once I can begin walking, I will need extensive physical therapy to regain muscle mass and range of motion in my knee and ankle. Please help me get through the upcoming months!
