Update: We were able to get out, but are still really struggling financially. I am SO very appreciative of everything that was sent to help me and my sweet pup! We cannot thank you enough for the $345 we’ve received and we wouldn’t have been able to get this far without it. Hi, my name is Emery. For the last few months, I’ve been trying to get myself and my dog, Zhara, out of an abusive situation. I have most of the major needs set up, but I keep running into financial road blocks, so I am turning to you all for help.

Most recently, I found out that my car needs major emergency repairs that have to be fixed before I can use it to move safely. I’ve paid all the fees and deposits at my new apartment and was planning to move this week, but now I don’t have the money to make either the car repairs or the move happen.

I’m on disability, so even a good month is usually tight and I don’t know where to turn right now. The hope is to raise $2500 to cover the remaining car and move expenses. If you’re able to donate or share, Zhara and I would be eternally grateful. Thank you very much for your time and generosity.
