<div>On February 26, our sweet nephew, grandson and cousin Elliott suddenly became gravely ill and was rushed to C.S. Mott Children’s Hospital at the University of Michigan.
</div>

<div>His condition deteriorated quickly and he had to be placed on a ventilator while doctors fought to stabilize him.
</div>
<div>Thankfully, Elliott is showing signs of improvement, but he has a long road ahead before he can return home.
</div>
<div>During this time, his parents, Todd and April, refuse to leave his side. They are at the hospital 24/7, doing what any loving parent would—putting Elliott first.

<div>However, with the hospital located hours away from their home, they have been unable to work, leaving them without income or with drastically reduced pay.
</div>
<div>As we all know, bills don’t stop during medical emergencies. They now face mounting expenses, including:

</div>
<div>• Travel expenses for when they need to return home briefly
</div>
<div>• Meals and daily necessities while staying at the hospital
</div>
<div>• Covering household expenses while unable to work
