I’m Elliott,  ⚧︎ I’m on year 9 of my transition since taking my first steps at 14 and hormone therapy at 16 and a name change at 17. Gender affirming action has saved my life. I’ve been on hormones for 7 years. My goal here is to get top surgery. I’ve always struggled very hard with gender dysphoria the entirety of my life. My mental health frequently tends to tank to the bottom by existing in my own frame. For me, that change is much needed. It would do me a disservice to wait any longer to go ask for help. My chest has caused me lots of stress in my life to continue with my chest not aligning to how I present and live my day-to day life as masculine. Binding everyday for years and slouching to hide my chest has ruined my posture. It takes a toll on my confidence daily. Alongside, the frequent pain. Furthering my transition has always been a need. I hope that in my life I will be able to see a reflection of myself and my lived-in experience. To at last, feel more aligned. I have not gone further in my transition goals simply because I just cannot afford it all by myself. I work a full time job. I could really use some extra assistance and mutual aid to help me get to a -good- place, and get the services I need to live a better life. The literal meaning of a weight off my chest. These include initial top surgery, anesthesia, my flights home, lodging, and all other care needs for recovery. I’d be so extremely grateful for any amount of help. Being trans is only part of my identity, but I’m an also an artist. I am an avid nature seeker and have a passion for the outdoors. I enjoy the creative arts. I work with adults with disabilities. I enjoy being with my friends and exploring expression. Even if it’s little, I could never forget your support. ♥︎
