Today, my little Chihuahua, Ellie Mae, had a seizure that left me terrified for her health. After rushing her to the vet, we learned that she may have a birth deformity in her liver. This is causing a dangerous buildup of enzymes, which is likely the reason for her symptoms. The vet explained that Ellie Mae will need a series of expensive diagnostic tests to confirm the diagnosis, and if those tests come back positive, she will need surgery to give her the best chance at a healthy life.

 Ellie Mae is only five years old and has brought so much joy and love into my life. She is truly my heart walking outside of my body—the sweetest little dog you could ever meet. Facing these unexpected medical expenses is overwhelming, but I am determined to do everything I can to help her get better. Every dollar raised will go directly toward her diagnostic tests, surgery if needed, and any follow-up care to ensure she has the best possible outcome.
