Help Ellie get treatment for fnd

Donation protected

Ellie started with having motor tics in November.  However a few months later she started having non epileptic seizures and one morning woke up struggling to walk. Ellie has her good and bad days but now most days cannot walk without crutches. We are even looking into a wheelchair for the days she cannot walk. This really couldn’t of come at a worst time for Ellie and with school and exams so we really want to get her treatment so she can continue on to college in September and go out with her friends like a normal 15 year old.

we recently saw a neurologist that diagnosed Ellie with a functional neurological disorder ( fnd ). Fnd is a functional disorder that effects your nervous system and how your body sends and receives signals.

Currently on the nhs there is very little treatment and long waiting lists for treatment that is available. We have now been discharged by the neurologist and had no support as it is so unknown by doctors and medical professionals. So we are looking at going privately for professional treatment. This will include hydrotherapy, occupational therapy along will physiological help with dealing with this horrible condition.

Any donations not used will go to fnd hope, an amazing charity supporting people and raising awareness of fnd.
