Help Elli Hear Her Students Again

Hi, I’m Elli, an environmental educator with a passion for connecting people to nature. Recently, I was diagnosed with mid-range bilateral hearing loss—meaning I have difficulty hearing in the exact frequency range of human speech. This has made it challenging to work with my students, as I often miss important parts of conversations.

To improve my quality of life and work, I need hearing aids custom-fitted by a specialist. Unfortunately, health insurance doesn’t cover the costs of visits, tests, or the hearing aids themselves. Hearing aids alone can range from $2,000 to $7,000—well beyond what I can afford as an educator.
