My name is Elizabeth. I am a mom of 3, a 2-month-old set of twins and an almost 4-year-old.

I am raising funds to pay a down payment on a daycare!

Backstory:

I have worked in this daycare for 6 years! I started at the bottom and went all the way to assistant manager alongside my boss. My oldest son has been at the daycare since he was 6 weeks old! I've had baby showers in the daycare (thrown for me, of course). I have pretty much LIVED in this daycare for years! This place is like a second home to me, and these kids are my family! The parents and families in this daycare are so near and dear to me! I have contemplated this decision since I found out it was being put up for sale, and my boss sat down with me yesterday and answered all of my questions.

I have come to the conclusion that this is the BEST decision for me and my family. I was made for this. I'm in it for the kids and their families, not the money. I have YEARS of firsthand experience in THIS daycare. I went to college for Early Childhood Education. I've made up mock business plans and classroom layouts. I have lesson plans already made up that I've used in the past or have planned to use. I have the support needed to maintain this. I even have 2 years of working in a preschool setting while in high school as an extracurricular class.

Why am I making a GoFundMe?

This business is already set up, of course. Location, children, families, supplies, staff, all included. Minimum down payment is $10,000 for it all to be mine. I am going to look into loans and grants, BUT I wanted to try out my support system first.
