Help Elizabeth Maño beat stage 4 stomach cancer

My name is Harrison Nida. I play in a band called Victory Kid, through which I met my friend Alduane. Alduane is a talented graphic artist, who designs artwork for bands including covers, posters, and other merch.
We have talked about his struggles for himself and his community in the Philippines. Bad infrastructure that was torn apart after a typhoon, poverty, and Covid-19 are massive obstacles for his community.  He gives back by volunteering his time, gathering resources through his work, and doing whatever he can to keep the people around him safe.

Last month, his mother Elizabeth was diagnosed with stomach cancer. He has been doing all he can to raise the money, but even the deposit is steep. The surgery is a subtotal gastrectomy. Thankfully, the hospital is being lenient about the deposit, however when Elizabeth wakes up she will find herself in debt.

According to BioMedCentral, the 5 year survival rate post subtotal gastrectomy is 65%,  while the 2 year rate is over 80%.  It's hard to put value on a life, but surely someone committed to helping their community asking nothing for themselves deserves help in their time of crisis.

Here is what Alduane writes:

"My mom raised me up to make a difference in the world and she has been very supportive even in my projects to bless our local community in light of the Covid-19 pandemic back in summer of 2020. In February of 2021 my mom was diagnosed with stones in both her kidneys and a tumor in her stomach which cause severe bleeding in her digestive system.

My dad died back in 2008 due to liver cirrhosis then my sister settled down and had her own family which leaves me and my mom living at home together.

Please help me extend my mom’s life so that together we can touch more lives in her golden years here on earth. All funds raised will go to hospital / surgery and medication cost."

San Pedro Hospital in Davao is well funded with good practices, however it is a private hospital. In the Philippines, an unfortunately common problem occurs when collecting debt, in which the hospital often time won't release the patient until the debt has been paid, sometimes with interest. We need to raise money quickly so that there's no interest, Elizabeth can get the medication she needs to recover, and mother and son can continue helping their community in dire need.

Update from Alduane:
Funds now will go towards medication and treatment. The doctor has put off the surgery until her health improves, so for now these funds will help stabilize and treat her condition.

Thank you for the support that we've had!

Any amount helps, and if you can't donate please consider sharing. You never know who might help through networking!
