Hi. That's me in the striped sweatshirt. My name is Elijah Crofts, and I'm here asking for your help. It's not usual that I do something like this. It feels strange to be asking for assistance. I'll start off by saying that, if you read this, thank you for your time. It is my first time doing this, so I'll try to explain clearly what is going on.
-Firstly, I'll introduce myself to anyone who doesn't really know me. I'm 18 years old, and I grew up in Brentwood TN. I went to Williamson County Schools my whole life, but after my freshman year at Ravenwood High School, I moved away to the Czech Republic, to go to boarding school. -Getting to the point here, I've attended this school for 2 and a half years. Townshend International School is a Cambridge school, meaning they give out International AS & A level diplomas. Not completing my final year here would mean that all of the efforts I've spent over the last 2 and a half years would go to waste. To me, this is a tragedy.
-To be transparent, the reason I am asking for funds is that both my parents recently lost their jobs. They will be traveling back to the states in a few weeks. With little job prospects and a lot of student loans with both my dad and my brother being in college, my parents are in no position to finance the last leg of my high school career. This leaves me hanging.
-I want to be able to go to college in a few months. If I were to be prevented from graduating, It would be extremely difficult to get into University. I have funds for college, but my family is unable to come up with this amount of money at this time. The tuition for the second semester will be around 10,936 Euros (13,270 USD). With the school offering me 75%, the remainder of my tuition comes to 2,734 Euros, which, at the time of the creation of this post comes to 3,318 US dollars. However, I am NOT expecting to meet the whole goal.
-Truly, absolutely anything helps me meet this goal. I am simply trying to garner any amount to ease the burden on my parents through this tough time. Any amount is so helpful. Thank you so much for the time to read this. And thank you, whether or not you donated.
