Help Elena Survive Through Dementia

Meet Elena. She is a 77-year-old woman suffering from dementia. She has been living with her daughter, son-in law, and granddaughter.
Recently Elena's health deteriorated to the point that she needed to be physically restrained and hospitalized. She will no longer be allowed to stay with her family because she has become a danger to her young granddaughter.
Healthcare facilities are not willing to accept Elena into their care without an-upfront payment of a year's worth of care, amounting to at least $120,000, because of the severity of her condition. She is not eligible for medical insurance. Her family is applying for assistance in every possible way, however, time is running out. Once Elena is dismissed from the hospital, likely within one week, she will have nowhere to live.
Elena's daughter and son-in-law are hardworking people, who will find ways to pay the monthly fees for her care. However, they cannot put together $120,000 up-front to pay for a whole year of care (who can??).
These people are probably going through more pain than even the pain of losing a parent. Elena is still alive, and can live for many more years according to her doctors. But what can a family do when a parent is living but has no where to go?
In the recent days this family has looked into every possible option, anywhere throughout the US, to find a more affordable living situation for Elena. They have not succeeded.
Elena's family did not ask for this Go Fund Me campaign, nor could they believe that it is possible to raise a significant amount of money through donations. However, they desperately need help.
