<div>On October 9th, 2024, our lives were turned upside down when a fire destroyed our mom’s apartment. We lost not only our home but also our beloved cat, Beni. The emotional and financial toll has been overwhelming. In addition, with our mom recovering from surgery she had less than a week prior to the fire, it is making this time even more difficult. Now we are facing the challenge of finding her and her two youngest children a new home.

<div>El 9 de octubre de 2024, nuestras vidas dieron un vuelco cuando un incendio destruyó el apartamento de nuestra madre. No solo perdimos nuestro hogar sino también a nuestro querido gato, Beni. El costo emocional y financiero ha sido abrumador, además de que nuestra madre se esta recuperando de la cirugía que tuvo menos de una semana antes del incendio, lo que hace que este momento sea aún más difícil. Ahora nos enfrentamos al reto de encontrarle un nuevo hogar a ella y a sus dos hijos menores.
