Help Eileen Gwin Fight Cancer

Donation protected
On February 9th, 2017 our world changed. Eileen Gwin, my wife of 26 years, went in for a colonoscopy and they found a large tumor in her colon. She was rushed into the hospital and they discovered that cancer had already spread to her lungs and liver.

The doctors diagnosed her with stage 4 cancer. They didn’t offer a cure. The best they could hope for was to prolong her life.

Their plan is not enough.

Eileen makes the world a better place. Every day.

For her birthday last year, I made a video letting her and the world know how much she means to me. As I recorded the video, part of me was thinking that this could be her last birthday with me. The reason I share this video is to give you an idea of who she is and what she means to me.

The Past 18 months

Eileen’s medical journey has been heartbreaking. She has lost a lot of weight [from 180lbs down to 94lbs]. She has had colon surgery to remove her tumor, chemotherapy and radiation therapy and an ostomy bag installed that makes each day miserable.

The chemotherapy is not working and cancer continues to spread slowly. Through all of this, Eileen maintains her usual good spirits, keeps hope alive and continues to bring love and light into the lives of those around her.

Our Last Hope

Mistletoe Therapy has been used successfully in Europe and has a great track record of success in fighting cancer.

Currently, Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine here in Baltimore is in development of the first clinical trial in the United States using intravenous Mistletoe. This clinical trial brings together the conventional and complementary medical communities to fight cancer.

There is a clinic just outside of Boulder, CO called Naturemed that is on the forefront of Mistletoe Therapy for cancer patients. Dr. Kirsten West, ND, LAc, FABNO there has recently evaluated Eileen’s current condition and approved her as a viable candidate for treatment.

What We Need To Raise

This November, Eileen will go to the Naturemed Clinic to start a 4-week outpatient treatment to cure her. The cost of the treatment, housing and transportation will be $24,000, none of which is covered by insurance.

Please help Eileen get her health and her life back so she can continue to make our world a better place.

Thank you for your consideration!

Meet Eileen
