<div>Doctors performed emergency surgery and placed a colostomy bag to help his body function properly. During the operation, they discovered multiple tumors. Days later, we received the devastating diagnosis: <strong>stage 4 kidney cancer</strong>, which has already spread to his lungs and other areas of his body.

<div>This heartbreaking news has turned our lives upside down.

<div>After spending a few weeks in a rehabilitation facility, Efrain will be moving in with Iriana, where he’ll need a full-time nurse to care for him. And this is where the hardest part begins — the long, difficult fight against advanced cancer, surrounded by daily medical needs and uncertainty.
