<div>Dit jaar doen Bouke uit Ried en Siem Willem uit St. Annaparochie mee aan de Carbage Run editie zomer 2024. De carbage run is een ultieme 5 daagse rally door Europa in een barrel van maximaal € 500,-- die dit jaar van 24 t/m 28 juni gehouden wordt.

<div>Het wordt een hele uitdaging voor de mannen want ze moeten zo’n 4000 km afleggen en reizen met hun prachtige gepimpte Fiat Mulipla door 15 verschillende landen. Zij bekostigen dit helemaal zelf.

<div>Wij vinden het geweldig dat Bouke en Siem Willem Stichting Nikki’s Friends hebben benaderd om voor dit goede doel te rijden.
</div>
<div>Nikki’s Friends zet zich in voor kwetsbare kinderen in het noorden van Thailand en biedt ze onderdak in Agape Home Chiang Mai Thailand. Ieder kind heeft een liefdevol en veilig thuis nodig. Nikki’s Place zet zich in voor meer dan 120 kinderen die hun ouders, vaak aan AIDS verloren zijn.

<div>Het kindertehuis is volledig afhankelijk van giften voor bijvoorbeeld baby voeding, school/educatie, onderdak, personeel etc.
