Help Ed Pragides-Double Kidney Transplant & Trmnt

Edward Pragides...Husband, Father, Loves God, Works for Verizon with many people who respect Eddie and he them. He would give you the shirt off his back to help you. Is always there for anyone in need who works to the bone literally who provides for his family especially the past decade sacrificing for his Wife. She has survived many ongoing health issues and surgeries putting the family into a lot of financial struggle. 

Along with Covid, this has been a tough season for many but God has provided but this past week Eddie has experienced a very serious life threatening medical emergency.  On Monday December 14th Edwards primary doctor rushed him to the Emergency Room at Inland Valley Medical Center and was there for 3 days and his family decided to move him to Loma Linda University Medical Center for better care that he was not receiving. 

While in the hospital Eddie has tested positive for Covid 19 and put on medication but has mild symptoms. More seriously after many tests Eddie has been diagnosed with Chronic Kidney Disease, basically both of his kidneys are failing seems this has been going on for a while and this was undetected. He is currently starting Dialysis while in the hospital but his first treatment had to be stopped as his heart rate shot way up. After tests on his heart it has been found that he also has lots of clogged arteries quoted by the nurse and will now require open heart surgery. His second attempt at Dialysis also had to be stopped as his blood pressure went all the way down. He will be on Dialysis but also will be put on a double kidney transplant list where that process can take up to a year. Currently his Dialysis port is in his neck due to the seriousness of his Kidneys failing. 

As the doctor has said Eddie is very sick and has a long journey ahead of him and will not be able to work for a while. With so many medical expenses he will need through this process Eddie work at Verizon Wireless has suggested a GoFundMe Page as they want to help Eddie and his family in any way possible. We thank you for all the support, prayers, love, meals, and those who have reached out to Eddie and his family. This is a really tough time to be going through this during Covid as not even his wife can be with him in the hospital as well.  Thank You again for all the love and support.  Please continue to pray as he is very sick and not stable and unable to come home which makes a very rough holiday season for us all.
