This is Edward, he’s 2 years and 2 months old. He recently had to go to the emergency vet at 2 am because he was bleeding out of his genital and not urinating. He needed a catheter and some blood work and a urine analysis. He has so much build up crystals and stones in his bladder from dry food (we assume) and he needs life-saving measures at this point because the catheter alone is not enough to clear out his bladder. He has a brother named Jasper (pictured above) and they are inseparable. The vet costs amount to $5,000 so far, for the surgery it’s going to be another $5,000. We are unable to transfer him to a cheaper facility due to high risks of complications. My sister assists in creating this fund because her and her boyfriend found out a year ago that they were having twins, and they have been struggling with taking care of the babies full time as they just turned 6 months and Edward is currently living with them.
