Help Education in Liberia

Legacy​ ​Holding​ ​Foundation​ ​is​ ​local​ ​non-profit​ ​organization​ ​founded​ ​in​ ​April​ ​2009.​ ​Our​ ​goal​ ​is​ ​to help​ ​the​ ​underprivileged​ ​children​ ​of​ ​Liberia,​  West ​Africa.​ ​There​ ​was​ ​a​ ​14-year​ ​long​ ​civil​ ​war​ ​that​ ​left the country destroy and schools​ ​damaged.  Liberia has been on an uprise of development since they voted the first president into power in 2006.  But have a long way to go as far as infratructures and education.  With education being on the rise and little for school children to equip themselves  with and be ready to learn, Legacy Holding Foundation has been dedicated to helping the Liberian children ​ ​with​ ​other means of education and school ​ ​supplies​ which is ​scarce​ ​and​ ​expensive.​ ​Our​ ​goal​ ​is​ ​to​ ​supply​ ​these children​ ​with​ ​the​ ​necessary​ ​school​ ​supplies​ ​and​ ​tools​ ​to​ ​help​ ​rebuild​ ​the​ ​education​ ​system. Through​ ​donations​ ​and​ ​collections​ ​of​ ​these​ ​supplies,​ ​we​ ​hope​ ​to​ ​encourage​ ​the​ ​children’s passion​ ​for​ ​education​ ​and​ ​support​ ​their​ ​educational​ ​future.

The​ ​Foundation's​ ​goal​ ​is​ ​to​ ​collect​ ​1,000​ ​backpacks,​ ​stuffed​ ​with​ ​the​ ​following​ ​materials​ ​by March​ ​2018:
● Notebooks ● Folders ● Pens ● Pencils ● Crayons ● Calculators ● Colored​ ​pencils  ● Markers ● Scissors ● Rulers ● Erasers ● Binders ● Index​ ​cards
