Educate the children of Cambodia

'We're standing for children's education - help us change lives.'

We are a group of 27  HIGH SCHOOL students and we are the voice for the children we just had the honour of meeting. 

We are in CAMBODIA NOW  and we need your help.

HELP us become leaders in SOCIAL change.

It's been heartbreaking to see the horrific effects of the rapid development on the students and local community of Otres.
Every volunteer has been deeply moved by the pure positivity of the Shine children who live in severe poverty.
We've learnt to be grateful for everything we have. 


Here's some of grade 6 graduating - the first cohort to make it to secondary school because of Shine.

These are the teachers and social workers that you help employ - all of their salaries are paid with donations:


Shine Cambodia is a charity based in Melbourne,  Australia. We run a community project in Cambodia to alleviate poverty
through education and wellbeing services. 

Every month there are 130 children turning up to Shine receiving 6000+ hours of EDUCATION and 3000+ hours of
supervised play. 1000 lunches are served a month to children who otherwise live on 1 meal a day.
There are many more on the waiting list but we can't afford to extend our programs.

Your donation will go towards keeping the children SAFE during the day, improve their physical and mental HEALTH and
the quality of their education, so they can LEARN and THRIVE and give their families a better FUTURE.

What your money is spent on:

$10 - clean drinking water for 1 student for a year.

$20 - school supplies for 1 student for a year

$30 - lunch for 1 child per day for a whole month

$50 - education for 1 child for a whole month
