<div>I’m reaching out to ask for help for my sister, <strong>Editha Vitug</strong>, who was recently rushed to the hospital after being found unconscious. She suffered a stroke which caused her to be in a comatose state. She is currently in the intensive care unit (ICU) in the Philippines.

<div>After several examinations, the doctors discovered bleeding in her brain. <strong>She needs emergency surgery to remove the brain bleed. Unfortunately, the doctors won’t treat the bleed unless we pay upfront.</strong>

<div>The doctors have given us an estimate of ₱1,000,000, roughly $17,000, and we simply don’t have the means to cover it on our own.
