My name is Edina, and I'm reaching out because I need help to keep fighting for my health and my family. A year ago, after nearly losing my life, my doctors discovered I had a liver defect that caused cirrhosis. Despite never being a smoker, drinker, or drug user, this illness has taken over, and the only way to survive is to get a liver transplant. The sooner I can get screenings, treatment, and get on the transplant list, the better my chances, especially since I've lived a clean lifestyle.

 I'm unable to work due to the severity of my illness and frequent hospital stays. I need a reliable car to get to my medical appointments for treatment, pain management, and to see my lawyer for disability benefits. The funds raised will go toward medicine needed to manage my illness until I can get a transplant, or to buy a car so I can get to these crucial appointments.

 I have two kids, 16 and 15, whom I've raised alone since their father died when they were toddlers. I'm trying to stay here as long as possible because I'm all they have and they're all I have. I've always pulled my weight and raised them proudly, but now I'm at a point where I can't physically or financially do it on my own. I'm finally at my breaking point and asking for help. I've always helped others, even strangers, because I hate to see someone hurting. I pray God sees my track record and grants me a blessing—not just for me, but for my kids.
