<div>Hey my name is Izek, and I’m raising funds for my dear brother in Christ, <strong>Ebrima</strong>, who lives in The Gambia. Ebrima is a humble and faith-filled young man who has been doing everything in his power to care for his family after the passing of their father.

<div>Since their father’s death, Ebrima has stepped into a role far greater than himself — doing all he can to provide food, shelter, and stability for his younger siblings. There have been many nights where hunger and uncertainty tested their faith, but through it all, Ebrima continues to look to God for strength.

<div>He tells me often, “I just don’t want to see them cry anymore from hunger pains anymore”

<div>Those words reflect the heart of a man who, despite his own pain, continues to give, love, and believe.

<div>Ebrima does his best to find small labor jobs, but work in his area is scarce. What little he earns often goes straight to daily survival — a meal here, rent there. He and his family cook their food over firewood, and even then, it’s often a stretch to make ends meet. His landlord continues to pressure him for rent, and the constant burden of trying to keep everyone fed weighs heavily on his heart.

<div>On top of these struggles, Ebrima has also been facing his own medical challenges, which make it even harder for him to work consistently. Yet in all of this, his spirit remains unshaken. He spends his quiet moments reading God’s Word, seeking to grow closer to Christ, and to be a shining example of faith and perseverance for his siblings.

<div>Ebrima’s story is one of faith through adversity — a testimony that even in the valley, God’s light still shines. He believes, as we do, that <em>God can do the impossible</em> — that miracles are still unfolding every day, and that the right people are being placed in our paths to help us move forward with peace, joy, and grace.
