We are gonna make this post for the people that don’t know or hasn’t followed Easton’s Journey! We found out at our 20 weeks anatomy scan that Easton’s heart was very different ! He was diagnosed with HRHS and Tricuspid Atresia ❤️ I had a very high risk pregnancy from there on out to delivery and the birth of little man! Weekly appointments and stress test and ultrasounds at the Dallas heart at cardinal Glennon! Delivery went smooth and other than his heart problems he was healthy gave birth to a 9.9 baby lol ❤️ Gave birth at St. marys and he was transferred right away after he was born to cardinal glennon. Where he was on meds through his belly button to help his heart cause without them he would have passed away! Between the breathing tubes and feeding tubes and picc lines we couldn’t even hold him it was so heartbreaking:( after all the test and echos they decided to do his open heart surgery at a week and 1 day old .. that surgery they put in a central shunt and that’s where it when down hill from that After his surgery they said everything was fine I guess, the blood flow was good and his stats oxygen and all his other testing but later that night I never thought I would have gotten that call that changed our situation for ever! We were home at the time with our other 2 babies and it was about 3 am and i had a feeling something was terribly wrong.. my husband answered the phone and it was The cardiac doctor telling me that my week old son went into cardiac arrest and was placed on ecmo not even a hr later . Me and my husband rushed to the hospital doing over 100 just to be with him cause they said that we needed to come see him and possibly say our goodbyes cause his condition was very bad… he was without oxygen for about 7/10 mins which caused a little neurological problem with a small part of his brain. He was delayed in most but that didn’t stop him … he was on ecmo for about a week n a few days as time passed he improved and got better and he finally got to go home. …. On July 1st 2021 he had his 2nd heart surgery , he had the Glen shunt put in and surgery and recovery went amazing and he was home n 3 days! …… fast forward to a few days before new years 2024 he was sick n dignosed with Walking pneumonia n RSV .. they sent him home and it went down hill from there … I made a appointment on weds the 8th with his pediatrician n his stats were low so the transferred him bck here were they ran multiple test n he came back as his heart wasn’t squeezing n functioning properly at all .. they admitted him where they gave him a iv and fluids and some meds and then 2 days after they started a picc line to give him the meds he’s currently on and receiving to help his heart contract like its supposed to .. they said his hearts very depressed and definitely sick.. the 3rd open heart surgery was definitely out of the question! So now here we are after the 2nd echo didn’t show much improvement!! He is being listed back on the transplant list! So everyone pleaseeee KEEP THEM PRAYERS COMING! As well wait in the hospital for his new heart! Could be weeks to months and as everyone knows this is super emotional for me cause I have other babies at home that Also miss me! I will continue to update yall ❤️
