Help ease costs for grieving widow

In November 2021 my father was diagnosed with esophageal cancer. During the past 10 months he fought a courageous but difficult battle to which his suffering came to an end on September 16 2022 at the age of 67.

During the course of his treatment and as his illness progressed, his biggest concern remained that his wife be taken care of in the event that he passed away; that she not be burdened with financial costs as she would go through not only the hardship of mourning him, but learning to navigate her life without him.

My father’s wife, Jennilee, is an amazing and caring person; a woman who never left his side despite the difficulty of his cancer and whom always took the best of care of him.

As his daughters, it is our wish, as it is our father’s,that she have enough money by herself to move to a place she can afford, car repairs, and that she has some extra money to save for any unforeseen costs that may arise in the meantime as

a new widow.

Even though money can never heal a loss as great as this, it can at least ease stress in one area and also be a gentle reminder that despite the evil of cancer there is still good, compassion, and thoughtfulness in this world. We are asking on her behalf (as she would never dare ask for a penny) but a woman as caring and thoughtful as her is well deserving of the kindness and generosity of others. ANY amount of money gifted to her at this time is MORE than appreciated. I know we (as well as her) are eternally moved and grateful.

There is still good and beauty, hope and love in this world despite great suffering. Nothing can kill the hope and strength of the human spirit
