Hey, I'm Dustin, or Dusty. I've been a paraplegic since 2010, and I've been recovering from a wound for 2 years. I'm generally a quiet guy and self-sufficient. I helped a lot of people out in small ways, like moving, emergency help, and car problems. I have a black cat, Buck, and he's about 14 this year. It took a long time to get him past being a nervous wreck. I recently was told I have 2 weeks to move, ending April 14. It's been a while coming. I've had lots of problems here. The good part is, it lets me move closer to my sister and her family. I couldn't find a place closer.

I used to have a good number of friends, but we mostly grew apart. I do still think of them fondly. With my condition, I just can't handle living in an isolated area anymore. I will need to find a way to move as easily as possible, and not lose all I have left. I'm needing help with the fuel cost, the truck, and the additional help. This was a hard one to do. I had been looking for a place for over 3 months, but I had a really tough time finding a wheelchair-friendly place.

Any help you can offer me on my move to Denison is much appreciated!

The latest information, as of this morning 4/11/25, I am likely going to be homeless by Monday. I need to pay for a place, somehow. Autonomic dysreflexia is a serious issue, and being wheelchair bound means I'm at a complete loss. The shelter is full, and being homeless is not legal here.

For the first time in my life, I'm seriously put of options.
