Help during Jacksons epilepsy brain surgeries

Our 10 year old son, Jackson, has been through so much in his young life. He had a sub mucosal cleft pallet repair when he was four years old. Then just last year he had an emergency appendectomy. He has also been struggling with epileptic seizures for two years now. Doctors have tried a number of different medications with no improvement. He will now be having epilepsy brain surgery. We hope he will be seizure free after these procedures, but it is going to be a long road. Jackson is such a funny, loving boy who loves to play with his 5 brothers and sisters. We all just want him to live the best life he can. We are a very low income family that lives paycheck to paycheck. We already struggle to pay the bills as any family does. With Jackson's surgeries coming up, my husband will need to take some time off of work, which we really can't afford. We want to be able to keep up with the rent and other bills, as well as make sure we have enough food at home for the other 5 children and meals and necessities for us while we are in the hospital. Money for gas to go back and forth to the hospital will also be important. We live an hour from the hospital. My husband and I will need to alternate staying at home with the kids and staying at the hospital with Jackson. There is just a long list of things we need to pay for and I dont want to worry about not having enough money on top of everything else we are going through.
