Hi! My name is Erica and I am reaching out to our wonderful community to ask for help putting funds together to get Ducky the treatment he needs. Ducky, a 2.5 year old American Shorthair orange cat, was recently diagnosed with feline Cryptococcosis. Feline Cryptococcosis is a very rare infection on PEI and has only been seen in a few cats prior to Ducky. This is a fungal infection that can have a devastating impact on his health and quality of life. However, when caught early enough, this infection can be treated with an antifungal medication over an extended period of time. This medication does come with a large price tag.

Ducky has changed my life in so many ways since adopting him and I could not imagine a life without him. He is the sweetest boy with the biggest personality and brings a smile to anyone's face!
