Recently, my mom, Cynthia, was diagnosed with colon cancer. Naturally, this news has been distressing, not only for her, but for our family as well.
The fist step in her treatment is urgent colon surgery that is required before she can begin cancer therapy. We are seeking the best healthcare options but, as you may already know, the cost of cancer treatment can be steep. Her surgical cost in Trinidad and Tobago is estimated at $17,000 USD ($114,000 TTD) and her cancer treatment is likely to be of similar magnitude. We are asking you, our family and friends, to please assist my mom in her fight against cancer. We are kindly asking for contributions to help cover the cost of her medical expenses.
