Dru de la Foret – an incredible son, brother, husband, father and friend is fighting a grave and unexpected health battle.
Originally admitted to the ER with hypertriglyceridemia-induced acute pancreatitis on April 5th, his health and organ function declined within a matter of hours. Dru is now intubated and in a medically induced coma in the ICU at Mt. Carmel East. The full scope of treatment and prognosis is not yet clear, but we do know that he will have a long and costly road to recovery.
As many of you know, Dru and his wife, Stephanie, have a three-year-old son and are expecting a daughter in early July. In an effort to alleviate some of the on-going stressors they face, we're raising funds for their growing family to help with medical bills, including future treatments that may be needed, as well as day-to-day expenses. We are grateful for any amount donated – every little bit will make a huge difference!
Unfortunately, hospital protocol will not allow visitors or deliveries at this time, so if you are not able to donate, we know they will appreciate your love, prayers and positive vibes!
