<div>I’ve secured over $5 million in competitive research funding from organizations like DARPA, USDA, and the Bill &amp; Melinda Gates Foundation, published dozens of papers, written a textbook, and even patented a breakthrough process for insect protein.

<div>In today’s world, being a scientist doesn’t pay the bills.
