Douglas's wife recently experienced a traumatic event as a witness and near victim to the In-N-Out shooting in Twin Falls, Idaho. She had just started as a new team member at In-N-Out, and was only feet away from the coworker who tragically lost her life that day. The shock and fear from that experience have left her deeply scarred, and the emotional impact has been overwhelming for both her and their family. As a devoted parent to three children, she had just returned to work after spending two years as a stay-at-home mom to raise their youngest child. This transition was already a big step for her, and now, the trauma from the shooting has made daily life even more challenging. Douglas has taken time off work to be by her side, offering the support and care she needs during this difficult period.

 The funds raised through this campaign will go directly toward covering essential bills, mental health support, and giving Douglas the ability to spend more time helping his wife recover. Access to counseling and therapy is crucial for her healing, and easing the financial burden will allow their family to focus on her well-being without added stress.
