Help Doug and Cort after Tubbs Fire

Please help my brother and sister-in-law Doug Smith & Cortney Mesenbrink-Smith.

Sadly on October 9, 2017 Doug, Cortney, and their 2 girls had a devastating loss. They went to bed that night unaware of any danger nearby. They were woken up in the middle of the night to a banging on their door to get out. Unable to find their 2 cats, they were forced to leave their home with only the clothes on their back. Thankfully, they were able to escape the smoke and flames and made it to safety. Happily they have been reunited with their beloved cats. A kind person had found them huddled together under a burned car. They have burns and singed hair, but are on the mend. 

Although they feel blessed to have survived, the family has lost everything they own (see picture below). Their immediate needs are basic and include the essentials such as clothes, toiletries, school supplies, temporary housing, gas and so much more. Their long term goals include rebuilding their home and re-establishing stability for their family. They are facing a long road ahead to fully recover from this tragedy that affected so many.
